Handcrafted Beach Chair in Nautical Rope | Meaípe Bacutias - (cópia)

The Bacutias Handcrafted Beach Chair in nautical rope with UV protection is handmade with the exclusive Meaípe weave, available in 4 color variations: Turquoise and Gold; Gold and Gray; Earth Tones; and Green and Beige. The frame is made of aluminum and black polypropylene armrests, like traditional wooden beach chairs, but with the lightness and durability of a nautical rope beach chair. Ideal for balconies, gourmet areas, living rooms, or indoor spaces with natural decor.

Unlike industrial chairs, every Bacutias is a hand-braided beach chair, an artisanal design piece that won't fade, won't mold, and resists sun and moisture. The Meaípe weave, inspired by the sunset at Guarapari beach, the moment when the sun sets over the sea and the sand keeps the last light of the day, features striking graphics of lines that advance and connect, a weave chair that carries identity and exclusivity. Compared to conventional beach chairs, Bacutias elevates the finish: here, braided beach chairs combine classic comfort with an original capixaba design.

This version with an aluminum frame and black polypropylene armrests works as a beach armchair both in indoor environments and in areas with sea breeze, such as open balconies, beach and pool. It is also a decor chair: a decorative piece that combines the spirit of tropicalia chairs with the warmth of Brazilian craftsmanship.

Those looking for an embroidered beach chair or a macrame beach chair find in Bacutias the pioneering brand of this weaving style in Brazil. Bacutias is one of the most resistant when it comes to traditional nautical rope beach chairs, as the nautical rope has UV treatment, ensuring greater resistance to fading. If you need a chair for the beach or outdoor areas with sea breeze, this model with an aluminum frame is ideal.

About the weave concept

Meaípe, the sunset at Guarapari beach.

The sun goes down over the sea, the sky lights up in gold, and the sand keeps the last light of the day. The black of the weave is the night that arrives slowly, the central diamond is the sun setting on the horizon, the last light that insists on shining before it sleeps.

Each color is a moment of the sunset: the gold of the sky, the turquoise of the reflecting sea, the orange of the sunset, the green of the dunes. Sitting on a Meaípe is staying on the sand watching the day say goodbye, when the sky and the sea become one single color and Guarapari lights up.

The poetry of each variation:

• Turquoise and Gold: the crystal-clear sea of Meaípe reflecting the setting sun, when the water changes color with the light.
• Gold and Gray: the last rays of sun on the sand, while the sky and the sea darken at the end of the day.
• Earth Tones: the gradient of the sky and the contrast of the rocks at sunset.
• Green and Beige: the sand warmed by the last rays and the coastal vegetation, with the shadows that appear at the end of the afternoon.
