Handcrafted Beach Chair in Nautical Rope | Peroá Bacutias

The Bacutias Handcrafted Beach Chair in nautical rope with UV protection is handmade with the exclusive Peroá weave, featuring four stylized fish on the backrest, one in each quadrant, and a checkered seat, in orange, purple and lime green. The frame is made of aluminum and white polypropylene armrests, like traditional wooden beach chairs, but with the lightness and durability of a nautical rope beach chair. Ideal for balconies, gourmet areas, living rooms, or indoor spaces with natural decor.

Unlike industrial chairs, every Bacutias is a hand-braided beach chair, an artisanal design piece that won't fade, won't mold, and resists sun and moisture. The Peroá weave, inspired by the fish that gives its name to the waters of Espírito Santo, celebrates the life that swims along the capixaba coast: the peroá, a triggerfish that crosses the shoreline, is the first living creature in the Bacutias collection. Four stylized fish, one in each corner of the backrest, point to the four directions of the sea, and the checkered seat recalls the scales and the fisherman's net. The vibrant orange, purple and lime green are the colors of the tropical fish that shine under the beach sun. Compared to conventional beach chairs, Bacutias elevates the finish: here, braided beach chairs combine classic comfort with an original capixaba design.

This version with an aluminum frame and white polypropylene armrests works as a beach armchair both in indoor environments and in areas with sea breeze, such as open balconies, beach and pool. It is also a decor chair: a decorative piece that combines the spirit of tropicalia chairs with the warmth of Brazilian craftsmanship.

Those looking for an embroidered beach chair or a macrame beach chair find in Bacutias the pioneering brand of this weaving style in Brazil. Bacutias is one of the most resistant when it comes to traditional nautical rope beach chairs, as the nautical rope has UV treatment, ensuring greater resistance to fading. If you need a chair for the beach or outdoor areas with sea breeze, this model with an aluminum frame is ideal.

About the weave concept

Peroá, the fish that swims in the Bacutias collection.

Four fish, one in each corner of the backrest, four directions of the sea, four paths of the coast. The checkered seat is the scale, is the net, is the sway of the tide that carries life.

The orange is the fish that shines in the sun, the purple is the depth of the sea, the lime green is the light that crosses the wave.

Sitting on a Peroá is diving into the capixaba coast, where the triggerfish swims close to the sand and Perocão keeps the name of the big fish. It is the chair that brings the sea closer, a piece of Espírito Santo to rest on.
